as usual, the lazy rain!

Introducing my three little dogs! from the oldest to the youngest: wai wai, rain & holly. they are my chocolates & cheese! i don’t eat them, but they make me happy! no wonder dogs-owner hardly get depression. i bet they are too busy entertaining and taking care of their dogs that allow them to forget all their worries. so if you have depression, get yourself a dog! they are your medicine!

my dogs are such a blessing in my life. everyday i can’t wait to get home early, just to play with them. they can’t wait to see me too! kekeke ~ but it’s not easy to take care of dogs. it requires the P&P – patience and perseverance. imagine cleaning up their ‘output’ and teaching them the proper way. it takes a lot of effort and time.

but grace is always more than sufficient! i must be like God who loves us despite our weaknesses. i’m My master’s dog. same applies to my dogs! I’m the dogs’ master. haha. so to all pet-owners outside, please love your animals. they are here by your side because they trust you. this is called loyalty, even most human being does not know what it is. don’t break you pet’s heart! :)

oh. & if you are wondering how about my QQ, he is fine and safe! i’m caging him in the kitchen to stop him for ‘attracting’ my dogs to him. haha.

so glad to see Pastor Kong back preaching in church again.

he talked about LOVE at the last weekend service. it was a subject that is so closed to my heart. i always believed that LOVE is the main reason why i would stay so far in God. because my first revelation of God was LOVE and my first experience with Him was also LOVE. without it, i would not sustain till now. because the LOVE He gave was Agape; a love that is unconditional and sacrificial.

“God’s love should be every believer’s foundation.”

through darkest times, His LOVE will be the wings that shelter me and accept me. i am thankful that i am in CHC serving and worshiping God. this church has also been my motivation factor to hold on to God. she brought me to the knowledge of Christ and also brought me to the presence of God. right now, she is still the same. the hearts of the people in church always makes me wants to do better for God. if my family is my first home, then CHC is my second home. :)

i cannot wait for school to start. after graduating from SOT august last year, i have been “wasting” my life. ha ha. however, God is still good. in the midst of “wasting”, He gave me a chance to rise up and take a cell group; my mum came back and decided to live in Singapore and etc. And school is going to start in about a month’s time. in the blink of an eye, it’s july 2010!

before i get busy with studies, there are a couple of things i want to get!

1) take up driving and get a license asap. (in the process…)

2) get my jaw done! it’s been so many months since the fall…

3) hopefully make my teeth straighten and get it back to normal. that means, putting braces!

4) Lasik surgery for my eyes. no more specs, no more contacts! (praying…)

5) building my cell group members’ life and explode it! (in the process too.. a lifelong event)

it seems difficult and impossible to complete these whole five things in a month. alright, gotta stop procrastinating for now! yes, a must! i learn one thing, don’t waste your time! once going through it, never want to go through again. my prayer for myself today: make everyday counts and fruitful! (:

Believing in God is not a feeling, but is a faith and trust that He is always there for you.

i am unsure of how other people think and felt about God. throughout my walk with God for the past five years, i see many people come and go. there are many times i wonder to myself if running away from Him is the best solution for their problems that lead them for doing that. for me, i am uncertain. BUT for now, i know i am here for Him; He is my secret place.

many times i felt disappointments, betrayal or even fatigue in doing so much. thoughts of backsliding flashing pass my head. tears of giving up welling up in my eyes. i felt the tiredness and the pressure rising up in me. i could not tackle anymore. and my silent answer would be, “please give me time for the time being,” and slowly fade away behind the curtains and disappear. “if God is for me, how come He is making me feeling this way?” blaming in God as usual.

but i come to realize that whatever i am doing, it is all acting out by a non-existence pressure in me – emotions, feelings. where is God in my life? Is He not greater than the problems i have? knowing so much, going through so much and giving up is not the ultimate purpose i want in my life. spending years and years on church, receiving so much and experiencing so much! how can i leave the God who touches me so deeply throughout the years? live by faith, not by feelings! because the truth is He is omnipresent. where you are, He is there!

He changed me, He taught me, He transformed my life. if there is one thing that i have to leave behind, that will be my past failures. no longer holding to the failures and problems i have in my life, but pressing on to the future that God left for me. “Keep an eye on the prize, deal with the process.” i gotta be a problem-solver, not a problem-coward. if He put me through this, He definitely going to get me out of it. Believing in Him is putting trust and having faith in Him, no matter what circumstances is around. He is Yahweh, the living God. our hope is on Him!

so start transforming your thinking from negative to positive! when you move one step, God will move a thousand steps closer to you.

korean dramas; the story that reflects the deep desire and imagination of every little girls’ hearts. some people may say k-drama are too melodramatic or too made-up. but to me, i think it is a medium to tell people out there who are discouraged or disappointed because of relationships, that perfect love do happen in the world, but only through testings and understandings. so guys, please don’t despise dramas. I, myself, is a huge fan of korea. not just the shows, but the people, culture and food. I find them particularly interesting and dissimilar from other countries. i would love to go to korea again. this time round, i want to see snow!

right now, i have been catching up with some dramas; especially when i am not around in Singapore. there have been quite a lot of interesting shows recently. here are some that i am watching right now:

Happy Easter Day! this is the day where Jesus has risen and is alive today. He is seated at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for us. I want to thank Him for the wonderful things He has done in my life. Dying on the cross for me was a sacrifice to Him, and also became a definite decision for me to wholly follow Him. Just like the song, First Love, “You chose the cross, You chose me; Surrendered your life, You chose me; Though I did not deserve, You chose me; So I choose to love, just as You chose me; I put you first, as you first loved me; I’ll treasure your grace, as you died for me”. Thank You for saving my life from a pit of darkness and sin. I love You from the bottom of my heart. (:

this week had been a tiring and yet fruitful week for me and the cell group. thank God for my cell group E507. although i am the one that suppose to lead them, but in the end it also became the other way. they always motivate me to do more for God and for them. without them, i would not be where i am today. i have been really glad these past few days during easter weekend. keeping the reason as a secret first. But i feel great about this year for my cell group. i’m going all out! && can’t wait for my school to start.

YEAH! Easter is coming again. this weekend is a time of celebration for the resurrection of Jesus Christ. this year easter is totally different from the rest of the other years. i finally lead my own cell group, having own prayer meeting and inspiring them to grow in faith.

cell group is going for 50. i felt good about it. nothing is impossible with God. more breakthrough! 100 percent retention, i prayed. (:

had been feeling very lazy recently the past few days. feel like staying at home and rest all i could. POS training and all the events in my life had been getting heavier and heavier. i can feel the weight(s) on my shoulders. i need more strength and greater strength!

went rayner’s house last weekend for visitation. don’t get it wrong, is visiting his dog, ritchie. he is a male poodle, that looks like a teddy bear. he is so cute! i tell you, all girls will fall in love with him if they ever see ritchie. ’cause i am one of them. ha ha.

sat an interesting sbs bus last thursday. it’s interior design is not like the usual sbs public bus. it is pink and purple with unique chairs, and there’s even table in it. somehow i feel like i had entered a kind of pub where there was music playing. it was even funnier when the bus drove to chinatown and all the elderly uncles and aunties board the bus, sitting down at the pub lookalike bus. ha ha. can’t stop but laugh.

ROAR year

it’s CNY again. right now, it’s day #eleven. five more days, there will be no more angbaos. BUT this year is the best CNY i ever had. b’cause mom came back this year! we went shopping, movies and eating dimsum in singapore! usually we had it in other countries. this time round it’s a whole new feeling. haha.

not to mention the IR casino craze in singapore during CNY. my family and relatives also went down and took a look the new IR and casino in sentosa. for me, i am more excited for Universal Studios! and dad promised that he will give my sister and i two hundred bucks to enter when it is done. oooh, can’t wait!
